Sprint is another word for schedule.
Scheduling means ordering sessions availability by date. One a sessions schedule date it will be released to make it available to the teams.
Create Sprint
To create a new schedule, click 'Sprint' tab in Group Administrator tool bar and select 'New sprint' on your top right.
Enter the Sprint Name
Enter the name of your sprint in the box at the top of the page.
Scheduling can be done via two ways. Select your preferred method (you can switch between them).
- Manual Schedule
- Auto Schedule
Manual Schedule
To create a manual schedule, select Manual Schedule tab on your left.
Schedule a content release date
To assign a video to a specific start date, drag and drop the video to the adjacent calendar, or alternatively click on date field next to video name and select from the pop-up calendar. Save the schedule once you finished.
On this date, the video will become 'available' to users.
Note: If you cannot see your custom created content in the list, make sure that it is published and not still in draft form.
Moving Scheduled items
For items that are already scheduled in the calendar you can move them around in an easy visual way.
Select an option from the dropdown at the bottom of the page then drag a relevant items around the calendar. All items will move in accordance with what you have set in the dropdown.
- Single item: Move a single item only.
- All items: Move all items. (for example, if you move one item forward by one day, then all other items will move forward by one day.
- Future items: Move future items only. (for example, if you move an item scheduled on the 10th forward by one day, all items after the 10th will move forward by one day. Any items previous to the 10th will not move).
Save
When you are finished your changes, select 'SAVE'.
Auto Schedule
The Purpose of the auto scheduling functionality is to give the ability of creating and editing large learning programs with the click of a button to a Group Administrator. It differs from manual scheduling in its responsive design when changing a video start date.
Select Auto Schedule tab.
If you are creating or editing a schedule, any existing content, will be reflected in the new layout.
Select video frequency.
To select frequency, use the drop down tab above the right hand column, and select the start date for the first video.
Content states
- Unavailable Videos: Is content in your portfolio but unavailable to users (not it their library).
- Auto-scheduled videos: Content is available and scheduled.
- Available videos (unscheduled): Content is available but not scheduled (is in the library).
Changing the order of the schedule
To change the order of the auto scheduled videos, simply drag and drop the videos in the order you wish them to become available - they will automatically reorder by date in accordance with the frequency you have set.
Bulk changes
Select videos using the individual or Check/Uncheck All buttons.
Then either drag individually or use the bulk movement buttons - 'Move selected to'.
- Auto Schedule: moves selected to the 'Auto-scheduled' videos area.
- Available: moves selected to the 'Available video (unscheduled)' area.
- Unavailable: moves selected to the 'Unavailable Videos' area.
Save
When you are finished your changes, select 'SAVE'.
