Bulk user upload is used when you have a large amount of people you would like to upload to the system. There are two ways to bulk upload.
Bulk user upload / download
Select 'members' in the group administrator menu then click 'Bulk Management' dropdown and select 'upload / download csv'.
Select the download link first to download a .csv file of your current data. If you wish to keep this data then you are done. Otherwise, remove the data (if any exists) and use the column headings to add your bulk data to.
Filling in the .csv
Only the email field is compulsory but the more data you fill in now the more you won't have to fill in later.
- Active - refers to whether a user is active or inactive
- Role - a user is either a Member, Team Leader, Coach, Observer.
- Internal ID - is optional and is there if your organisation has an internal identifier it wants to use.
- Team - teams refer to which team(s) a user is in.
How to input in the teams and categories
Teams and Categories are separated by a backslash(\) character. If a user is in multiple teams and categories, they should be mentioned as below.
Example : Aiden Smith
An asterisk (*) indicates that the user is all the teams.
Note: if the team column left empty, users will not be in any team.
Upload By Email
To add multiple users by listing their email ids, click on the upload by email under bulk management. You will directed to new text box to list the new users emails (one per line).
Note: Existing users will be highlighted in green, inactive users will be highlighted in red and they can not be uploaded again.
