Exams can be created while creating the sessions under the activity tab. For more information on creating session, please refer to article "Creating a Session".
When ‘Exam’ is selected, opportunities to add questions are linked directly to media segments. For example, if a video is divided into 10 segments then there is the opportunity to add exam questions at the end of each of these segments. If the key artefact was not a video and segments were not allowed, then this is considered as only one segment. Segments do not require a question to be added.
Select your ‘Question Type’’ from the following option by clicking the drop –down arrow.

Attempts drop-down alters the amount of chances a learner has, to answer the question. This can be set to either 1 or 2. Only four answers will be added against each multiple-choice question.
Exam Question: Enter your exam question.
Exam Answer: Enter your exam answer.
Is Correct: Selects which of the answer is correct.
Answer, Hint or Comment: Add a comment that displays after selection of that answer option.
Optional Answer: Add up to two additional answers. Only four answers will be displayed however, when optional answers exist, the four choices generated, will be randomised. Adding optional answers increases the chances that learners will see different answer options.
Question Alternatives: Each question has the option for adding alternates. An alternate question allows for randomisation of question selection in the exam. In the example shown below, there are four alternates for Question 1, these are marked by B, C, D and E.
When the question is displayed, the platform will randomly choose and display one from any number of Question alternates. You do not have to add alternates to your questions.
True or False
